Optimized Wideband Antenna (OWA), fed directly with a 50 ohm cable. The 27Y6S has been designed with NEC-based software, using integral method of moments MoM (Method Of Moments), and optimized with heuristic algorithms (PSO). SmarTech numerical modeling takes into account the presence of insulators, boom and joints, so as to eliminate radiation pattern distortions.
Prototype stages are realized by iterative cycles of measurements and optimizations, until the convergence between numerical model and performance measured on the physical model.
The antenna is manufactured with top quality materials having excellent mechanical properties. Thanks to a specific sizing of each part, the resulting structure is strong but not rigid. Each part is optimized to work entirely within their own distinctive elastic field.
Aluminum is a material with high resilience that can withstand significant loads and stresses without suffering from permanent deformation or structural failure. To ensure that an antenna structure maintains its resilience, it is important that the structure be designed to operate within the elastic mechanical field of the material. This means that the stresses placed on the antenna structure should not exceed the yield strength of its components and that the antenna can return to its original shape after being subjected to loads or stresses. By designing antennas with these principles in mind, SmarTech can ensure that all antenna parts remain resilient and maintain their structural integrity over time.
This antenna is also excellent for stack installations. With a second 27Y6S is reached a forward gain >18 dBi and an F/R of 27 dB or better. For different configurations or installation requirements, please contact the Technical Division of Smartech.

MATERIALS
The main structure of the antenna is made of aluminum alloy EN AW-6060/82 UNI9006 / 1 (Anticorodal 60/100), which gives greater durability against the most aggressive atmospheric agents (ice, water, UV rays, fine dust, acid rain), and a better resistance to the mechanical stresses of the wind.
SmarTech antennas are also supplied, depending on the models and specific mechanical requirements, with parts in Aisi 304 stainless steel (Austenitic Stainless Steel UNI / EN 10088) and parts in steel compliant with the resistance classes designated by the EN ISO 898-1 standard: 2013.
The antenna is designed to achieve maximum electrical efficiency and the best mechanical strength and durability, thanks to the quality of the materials used. However other options available if higher wind loading/survival is required.
It is also suitable for installation in particularly aggressive environments, such as high altitude mountainous areas or coastal areas with a highly corrosive atmosphere.
SmarTech antennas are made with materials and technological solutions that minimize parasitic resistances (which produce unwanted RF dissipations) along the entire radio frequency signal path.

Since I have this new antenna, stations from America and Pacific are stronger and easily workeable. When I switch to the vertical signals are 5-6 points lower and noise is higher. Often I hear stations with the yagi wich totally disappear with the vertical antenna. It's 3 years the antenna is on my roof and still perfect. Bye!
